Business Description
Growing up, Ariane spent most of her summers in France in the country, where her aunt rescued dogs from euthanasia and she learned from a young age how to care for and properly behave around animals. In the States, Ariane had Pluto. At six, Pluto ran out and never returned. She reasoned that Pluto was lost because of a lack of training and that a stronger bond between the family and the dog could have prevented it.
She studied different breeds and chose Samson, a Beauceron puppy, which she brought from France. Ariane started one-on-one training classes. Her trainer saw that Ariane had a knack for working with dogs and asked her to be his assistant.
In 2005, she enrolled in a 3-month program at Triple Crown Academy with courses in obedience, behavior modification, agility, protection and search and rescue training. Ariane received a Canine Training and Behavior Specialist diploma.
Ariane worked for another dog walking company for over two years. In 2007, she founded Two Feet Four Paws.
