Business Description
Jill knew from a young age she wanted to work with animals. Her desire at that time was to be a veterinarian. As an adult, Jill's interest shifted to animal behavior & training.
Jill began volunteering at shelters, worked at a dog daycare & apprenticed and contracted with an experienced SF dog walker. Jill's love of dogs & the opportunity to care for them inspired her to start her own dog walking business in 2002.
Jill took a break from dog walking in late 2004 to pursue other interests, but her true passion was working with dogs. Jill restarted her dog walking business in 2011. Howl 'n' Woof will soon transition from off-leash group walks to behavior consulting and training.
Jill continues her studies in dog training. Her knowledge, experience & deep understanding of dogs allows Jill to help dogs gain confidence & learn good manners. Equally important is helping people understand their dogs and providing tools to guide and nurture good behavior.
