Business Description
Annette Fletcher, Owner and Teacher, started her Pilates career at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL under the tutelage of Elaine Wright, where she received her BFA in Dance. Upon arriving to NYC she went on to study under Frankie Puglisi and the Pilates Institute of America where she became fully certified on all of the apparatus. Annette went on to open Pilates House in 2005 and also taught for Equinox Gyms. In addition to her work at Pilates House, Annette is a teacher trainer for the Pilates Institute of America and teaching physical therapists about the Pilates method and how to incorporate into their work with injured patients.
Her approach to teaching is to get to know you and your body. She uses imagery and tactile work to help you to connect and understand your body, all while also discovering what your best methods of learning are.
