Business Description
DJ and her husband Kent began Cooks and Books in 1992. When they built their own building they added Corks to the name and the wine shop. Offering guest chef appearances as well as house chef taught classes and catering they kept busy. In 2005 they sold the Danville property and moved to Napa Valley. Perched on Howell Mountain overlooking the valley the view is breathtaking as is the kitchen. Attention to detail, ingredient quality, technique, and fun are all incorporated into our classes. Here with their three German Shepherds on the front porch.
