Jessica De Lasaux, the owner of Yoga Therapy Napa Valley, is a certified Yoga Therapist. She discovered Eastern Philosophy during her freshman year of college, providing a new perspective for how to be in the world. After moving to Napa in 2001, she went to the San Francisco Zen Center to learn how to meditate. She found a yoga class taught within the Anusara lineage at the Napa JC, and developed a home practice. Jessica began to make the transition from student to teacher in 2015 and took her first training with Janet Stone. She attended a second immersion in India with Janet to receive her first 200 hours of certification. Through Janet, Jessica met Harvey Deutch, another beloved Bay Area yogi. Jessica completed a 100 hour Therapeutic Yoga training with Harvey. In 2017, Jessica began an 800 hour program to become certified as a Yoga Therapist through the Stress Management Center of Marin. She earned her certification in 2020.
