Business Description
At an early age, Chris Griffin was drawn to and realized he had talent for the landscape/construction industry. He started a landscape maintenance operation when he was 10, and by the time he finished high school, he had over 30 clients. After graduating 3rd in his class of 450, he accepted a football scholarship to the University of New Mexico, where he earned a civil engineering degree, focusing on structural concrete & steel, drainage, & hydraulics. He was a team captain his senior year and was drafted in 1996 by the New England Patriots. During college he started a small New Mexico based landscape company working in all aspects of landscape, irrigation, and maintenance for both commerical and residential clientele. This company quickly became one of the largest of its kind in New Mexico. In 2001 Chris moved his family to Arizona and established Unique Landscapes by Griffin, Inc.
