Dr. Gilbert received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York Chiropractic College. After graduating, he studied the specialized technique of Applied Kinesiology under Dr. Eugene Charles, who studied under its founder, Dr. George Goodheart (the first official chiropractor for the American Olympic team and collegue of John F Kenedy's medical doctor, Janette Travell (who published the existence of trigger points and pioneered their therapy).

Dr. Gilbert is passionate about health and attends seminars on nutrition and chiropractic several weekends each month. Due to his vast pursuit of knowledge in all areas he has been called an "informational sponge," which has greatly benefited his patients. When he is not learning about the latest research and techniques, you might find Dr. Gilbert cooking healthy food, hiking in a national park, or doing a new Kettle bell or TRX routine at the gym.
