Business Description
Tim Young is the head strength coach and co-owner of TCBC. He played baseball for Southridge High School, Kennewick Bandits, Columbia Basin College, and Pacific Lutheran University. Tim has a bachelor's degree in science and physical education from Pacific Lutheran University, a master's in exercise science from Central Washington University, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Tim has 10+ years of experience as a strength coach working with college, semi-pro and professional athletes, & K-12 youth, and high-risk populations. Tim has been competing in powerlifting for 8+ years.
Amanda Young has been training for over 7 years and competes in powerlifting. In her first meet, she took first place, "best female lifter", and set the Washington State records in squat, bench, deadlift, and total for her age and weight class. Amanda holds a bachelor's of art and a master's in communications.
