Business Description

My name is Joanna and I am born and raised in Queens, NY. I am a certified teacher who dreamed for years of getting out of the classroom. Although I love children and still continue to work with them, I wanted to start my own business. I wanted a business that would allow me to provide a needed service, and would not require me to be in one room all day long. About 6 years ago, the idea for a customized cleaning company came to me because I was very unhappy with the cleaners that I hired for my home. I had just had ankle surgery, and was unable to put my foot down for 6 weeks. Each time I hired a company, I was disappointed and ended up cleaning up after them-while hoping on one foot. One bleached my carpet, another company didn't mop the bathroom floor, and the last placed a dustpan on my kitchen counter. It was a nightmare! In 2015, I finally launched my customized cleaning service! Tidy Teammates is my solution to a market filled with ineffective housekeeping companies.
