I have a diverse culinary background with over twenty-five years of professional food service experience. I began cooking as a young child and quickly worked my way up in the restaurant business. I received my formal culinary training at the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ and have a BS in Environmental Science from Johnson State College in Vermont. I have traveled the country extensively, as well as Europe. Working in a number of area restaurants, I developed my own personal style of cooking with a focus on healthy fare and multi-ethnic cuisines. In 1998 I opened Adam's Apple Café in Morrisville, Vermont which I ran for four years. While I love to cook, the long hours and stress of running a restaurant took too much time away from my family. In 2002, I closed the restaurant and began my personal chef service.
I continue to prepare quality meals and enjoy experimenting with new ingredients, techniques, regional cuisine and recipes. I am certified by Serv-Safe and insured.
