Founded by Carissa Songhorian, a BFA in Dance and Dance Composition graduate from California Institute of the Arts, The Dance School LA offers fun and nurturing group and private dance lessons.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Dance School LA created an online platform to give young students, adults, and other creatives the ability to express themselves again, in an open and caring environment where they can rebuild their confidence and their craft. With many dance studios and arts programs closing their doors (sometimes permanently) due to the pandemic, Carissa Songhorian saw a need that continues to be unmet.
