I have always believed that helping others is my calling in life. As a young child, I clearly saw the dramatic difference between western medicine's philosophies and those of our ancestors. I studied at the hands of my aunt and grandmother as a child, learning to wildcraft native herbs and understanding their uses. My grandfather was a naturopath, and although I never knew him, I feel that his influence was great in my perspective about what constitutes true healing.

By contrast, I could see how my own mother was treated via western medicine which only addressed symptoms. Watching mom steadily decline under this kind of management convinced me that this was no way to treat sick people. I decided that when I had my own family, my solutions would be different.

As a mother of 7 and nanna of 10, I have found that natural healing methods are much preferable to become a lab rat for modern 'medicine.' God provided all the tools we need on this planet for healing.
