Seeking a good place to raise their families, Gurdev and his brothers moved to Overland Park, Kansas where they won over the public with their commitment to excellence and hard work.

11 years ago, Gurdev opened his own restaurant in Zona Rosa and named it "Swagat," which respectfully means "Welcome." From the restaurant, Swagat Spice Bazaar was born.
