This quote is a mantra of Megan’s. Her Pilates journey began 19 years ago when she was in college. She was a dance major and required to take it for injury prevention. Little did she know it would be her saving grace a few years later when she suffered a career ending foot injury. Pilates not only healed her physically but also emotionally. It gave her confidence in herself and returned to her a life of vitality and no pain. Ever since she has been on a mission to provide healing to people through movement. In addition to her Pilates Instructor certification, Megan holds a BFA in dance performance and a MA in Clinical Counseling with a specialization in Dance/movement therapy. Her desire is to create a welcoming space at State Street Pilates and help people feel strong and confident in their bodies again.
