Business Description
Shelby first found Pilates in 2009 while working at a Pilates-based Physical Therapy clinic. She immediately loved not only how Pilates made her feel, but also how it made the patients’ feel. After suffering from chronic back pain due to scoliosis, Shelby witnessed first hand how effective Pilates was in improving mobility and getting back to pain-free activity. She became inspired to share her experiences with others. After finishing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013, Shelby went on to get her Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training. She finished her certification and became a Certified Pilates Instructor in 2017. Since completing her certification, Shelby has transitioned out of the Physical Therapy clinic and has dedicated more of her time to Pilates practice.
