Owned by Art Sevtap, Sevtap Winery Tasting Room is the result of a lifelong dream. After attending Santa Barbara City College to study marine technology and working as an underwater construction worker in New Orleans, Art returned to Santa Barbara to pursue his passion for viticulture. He began working at Kalyra winery and making his own wine on the side. Eventually, Art secured a license, got a lease on a warehouse (where he also lived to save money), and began producing wine. What started as eight barrels five and a half years ago has grown to 2,500 cases a run. Art's dedication to his craft is evident in every bottle of wine Sevtap Winery produces.
