Serene Beauty and Wellness was birthed from melting my two passions of hair and health together. As a problem solver, my aim has always been to get to the root causes of the issues at hand. After years of hearing my clients’ worries of hair loss and scalp sensitivities, I began doing my own research and soon came to the realization that external imbalances are the bodies way of signaling internal dysfunction. After discovering functional medicine, which is essentially root-cause medicine, a fire lit within me and I knew I would inevitably end up in the health and wellness space. Years later, I became a certified health coach through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy’s year long program. There, I learned about positive psychology, behavior change, motivational interviewing, and functional medicine science. I can now help people understand how lifestyle factors including diet, movement, sleep and stress levels can affect their entire body, including their hair and scalp.
