David is certified in the Polestar approach of Pilates training for rehabilitation, and is PMA-certified ("Pilates Method Alliance"). David also received classical Pilates training through Core Conditioning in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from San Diego State University with a master's degree in exercise physiology and spent five years teaching Human Anatomy and Dissection at SDSU and Miramar College, and continues to be a provider of continuing education coursework for students. David worked in SDSU's Adult Fitness Program conducting maximal exercise testing and developing exercise prescriptions for adults of all fitness levels. His 14+ years and 15,000+ hours of training and experience has provided him with a diverse range of clientele. These collective experiences allow him to bring a strong working knowledge of biomechanics and the musculature of the human body to every exercise session. David actively promotes a safe and effective exercise experience at SDSM Pilates Wellness.
