Business Description
I started Run My Dog in 2013 because I had a dog no one could walk. I loved Charlie more than anything in this world! But, he was a 130 lbs mix who was dog-fearful and explosively reactive. Have you ever been tackled by a large human? Dragged by a racehorse? That's what walking him down the street was like!
I tried finding a dog walker for years. The ones who said they could handle him couldn't, and a couple even put him in dangerous situations. I gave up and ran home every lunch hour, eventually finding a way to work from home. I never traveled, unless it was absolutely necessary, because I had to board him and he'd regress into a nervous wreck. After years of training and behavior modification, he settled into a more relaxed life.
And that's the reason for Run My Dog. We offer all dogs exercise and welcome those that needed a little extra attention and love.
