Business Description
My name is Stephanie and I have been a hairstylist since 2005. I started renting a chair at The Colour Room as of July 2014. I have worked in the salon industry since I was 16 and received my cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute. I worked at a high-end salon in Lakeview for over 7 years and learned so much and met so many great people. I have also had advanced training at the Bumble and Bumble University in New York as well as many other classes. I then wanted to learn more about the business side of a salon. I began as an assistant manager and worked my way up to salon manager fairly quickly. I really enjoyed helping a business thrive and keeping things organized, but I was missing my artistic side of me. Understanding this business from both ends of the spectrum, I then decided to become my own boss. This gives me the best of both worlds and I am really excited for this new adventure. I am currently taking clients, by appointment only, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & Sundays.
