Business Description
After teaching high school for almost ten years in the 70's & 80's, it was time for a change. I re-entered the sewing & vacuum industry I had worked in after college, and decided in 1988 to open my own retail store. I currently handle all management responsibilities, do virtually all service work on all machines. I also am the chief salesperson, website & newsletter editor, maintenance man, chief cook and bottle washer. I do voice recordings for audio study guides as a sideline, have been a drummer for over 40 years, and love science fiction in all its forms. I have been happily married for almost 34 years and have two grown children. For fun, I currently perform as a drummer with the La Crosse Highlanders, a local Bagpipe group, marching in numerous parades and playing at special events. No, I don't wear my kilt to work!
