Business Description

Pilates by Dolly was founded by Dolly Kelepecz. for over thirty years, Kelepecz was a professional dancer performing around the world. She received her Pilates certification in 1987 from Pilates experts, Eve Gentry and Elizabeth Larkin in San Francisco, California. After returning to Las Vegas from San Francisco, Kelepecz introduced Pilates to the city, opening up Las Vegas' FIRST Pilates studio and incorporating her own trademarked method of Pilates instruction called the D.K. Body Balancing Method.

Currently Kelepecz works at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she teaches both Ballet and Pilates. In addition to her Pilates By Dolly studios, she has established studios for many facilities, including hospitals, physical therapy clinics and chiropractic offices. She has also developed programs for the Houston Ballet, Nevada Ballet Theater, Wynn Resorts and UNLV, who has incorporated Kelepecz's Pilates classes as a requirement for Dance Department majors.
