Business Description
I was in my twenties, just out of college and I started working at a racecar parts supplier. The owner built the race cars, and I had to learn the intricacies behind the mechanics of racecar engines. Thus I began taking college classes on Automotive repair from instructors such as Ron Dominguez and Mr.Leeds. Eventually, people started coming to me for help on their street cars, this led to long evenings after hours fixing them. I was so busy with all the clientele that it was in my best interests to open an establishment, and this led to my opening Pichard's Automotive. Now that I ran my own buisness, I had time in the evenings to continue taking classes at Cuesta College to further enhance my understanding of automotive repair. This led to board certification of engine performance, electrical systems, and air conditioning. Since 1995 I have expanded my buisness to 2 establishments. At #2 we do Transmission Work and Windshield Repair, while at #1 we focus on engine and electrical work.
