Situated in the Foster-Powell neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, Performance Works NorthWest (PWNW) is a contemporary performance art space that fosters experimentation, creativity, and dialog between artists and audiences in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1999 by choreographer and performer Linda Austin and Jeff Forbes, PWNW has been a vibrant site for rehearsals, workshops, classes, and performances for over two decades.

As an artist-focused incubator for new time-based work, PWNW nurtures local talent while linking Portland audiences and artists to regional, national, and international artists whose work challenges and inspires. Her awards include Fellowships from the Regional Arts and Culture Council, New York Foundation for the Arts, and Oregon Arts Commission, as well as residencies at Djerassi Resident Artists Program (Bessie Schönberg Memorial Endowed Fellowship) and Robert Wilson's Watermill Center.
