Business Description
Julia has spent her life caring for animals. She was active in 4-H as a child, and raised goats, chickens and rabbits. She took riding lessons, sponsored a horse and competed in "vaulting" (which is basically gymnastics on horseback). She got her first dog when she was eight, and has owned cats, mice, rats, birds, a hamster and guinea pigs. Neighbors remember her as the little girl who walked her goats around the block! Further, she has advocated for animals. She contacted local pet businesses and got consent to place donation bins for needed pet supplies in their stores to aid animals displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Bins were donated to the Humane Society and shipped to Louisiana and Texas. Julia has a degree in Political Science but prefers working with animals.
