Business Description
Davin Schmidt was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. He graduated in 2010 from the University of Hawai'i, Shidler College of Business with degrees in Finance and International Business. Davin began his culinary career at a young age helping his parents in the kitchen. While in high school he spent the summers on the Big Island working for his family's development company at which time he lived with a construction worker who used to work as a chef. He and the former chef cooked every night and it was that summer that Davin's interest in cooking became a passion. In 2013, Davin enrolled in Culinary School because he thought that "cooking is something we will all do for the rest of our lives, why not be a professional at it?" What was once a hobby turned into a career when he met Jason Park and Ryan Aquino in Culinary School and they all decided to start a private chef business.
