Business Description

Maite, a native of Barcelona, Spain, came to the US as a postdoctoral scientist at the University of California San Francisco to research in the Biomedical field, and has published many research papers. In San Francisco she received acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy for the first time. After being healed she started to study Chinese Medicine. In 2010 she moved to Austin and enrolled in a Master's degree on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Texas Health and Science University. Maite graduated in April 2014 and is starting her own practice "Nueces Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine". During her clinic internship Maite treated many patients with great success seeking help for insomnia, stress, menstrual disorders, fatigue and other health issues. Maite is gentle, a good listener and has a genuine desire to help the others and to share her knowledge about life and medical sciences.
