I graduated in 1997 from Johnson & Wales University in Vail, as the recipient of the University Director's Distinguished Graduate Award. I worked at Marriott's Mountain Resort at Vail, before moving to St. Louis to be the kitchen manager for the Broadway Oyster Bar. Upon returning to New Orleans, I worked at Lemon Grass and Cuvee before venturing out on my own. I owned Chef Du Jour for 4 years, before Hurricane Katrina changed all of that. I worked in leadership with Whole Foods Market for 4 years before getting back into business out here in Austin with my latest venture, Nola Kitchen.
