Business Description

Setsuko is a 2nd generation Japanese acupuncturist, successfully serving the North County Inland communities of Poway, Ramona, Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, Rancho Penasquitos, and Rancho Bernardo. She has completed numerous internships/apprenticeships since 2008, with Dr. Koichi Nakamura OMD, L.Ac., Hiroyuki Nakamura L.Ac., Yasuharu Harrison L.Ac., Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, UCSD Seniors Clinic, Rady Children's, and Lara Chiropractic.

Setsuko holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture Oriental Medicine and a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University. Alternative medicine has been a constant presence throughout Setsuko's life and her passion was ignited when the growing needs of her family and her community, compelled her to follow in her father's footsteps.
