Business Description
Robby Schechter is a guitarist, composer, arranger, improviser, pianist and instructor. He is a graduate of the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies.
Robby is regularly called upon as a guest artist and has performed and recorded with Denver University's Lamont School of Music's "flex ensemble" and has played with nationally touring acts such as Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band, and John Popper of Blues Traveler, and Papadosio (where he is often featured as a guest guitarist).
Robby has recorded 2 full length albums:Live at Williams Hall,and Robby Schechter and the Motion Detectors.He has written tons of original music in every style, and has created jingles and commercial music for advertising.
Robby played in the Jazz en Vercors festival in Villard de Lans, France in 2011, as well as studying flamenco guitar in Seville, Spain at The Lamont School of Music.
