Business Description
Scott Myers is the Executive Director of the Miami County Park District and is the President of Ohio Parks & Recreation Association. Prior to this he spent five years as the Parks and Recreation Superintendent for the City of Piqua and also worked nine years for the Springfield Parks and Recreation Department. He is on the Ohio Parks and Recreation Board, a nine-member board made up of parks and recreation professionals from across the state, the Troy Sculptures on the Square Committee and the Miami County Visitors and Convention Board.
He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1990 with a business degree and completed his masters degree in sports management from OSU in 1992. He is also a 2009 graduate of Leadership Troy and a 2006 graduate of Leadership Piqua.
