Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization situated in Huntsville, Alabama. This historic venue has become a vital part of the neighborhood's revitalization, located in the Merrimack Mill Village neighborhood. The building boasts a rich history of the textile and cotton industries, and has since transformed into a performing arts center, providing educational and performance opportunities to the area's emerging and established performers.

Founded in 2006 by Debra and Alan Jenkins, Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center has been a gift to the community of Huntsville. The couple had a vision to transform a boarded-up building in a neglected area of town into a shining star in north Alabama. Since its inception, Merrimack Hall has donated more than $200,000 back to the community in the form of scholarships, outreach, and tickets to the underserved.

The center offers a wide range of programs including performing arts, music venues, and yoga. Merrimack Hall's mission is to provide educational and performance opportunities to emerging and established performers in the area. Debra, winner of the prestigious Virginia Hammill Simms Award for outstanding contribution to the arts, has been on the faculty of such institutions as the Montgomery Civic Ballet, The Birmingham Ballet Company, and Huntsville Community Ballet. She has worked as a volunteer in many capacities for most of Huntsville's premiere arts organizations, including serving as Chairman of Panoply 1997. Debra is donating her time and expertise to serve as Merrimack Hall's Executive Director.
