Business Description

Erika Jernigan is the founder of Lexi's Lil Bug who provides an on demand childrens transportation service for parents and families in Maryland. She has always had a niche for children since she was a adolescent babysitting and taking Early Childhood courses in high school and college. A few years ago her company was going through a mandatory schedule shift change causing employees to re-evaluate their children's current daycare and transportation arrangements. Some were able to make easy adjustments and others were met with challenges.

Erika has received continuous acknowledgement professionally throughout her 15 years of experience in customer service and engagement. In 2015 Erika was awarded Helping Hand of the Year award, 2018 Women's Trailblazer Award and most recently in December she will be honored as the 2018 Mayor Business Recognition Award by Greater Baltimore Committee.
