Business Description
Susan Sikule, DVM has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of 10. She grew up on a farm in rural Albany County raising sheep and Holstein calves with her brother. She's always had a deep love for and a strong bond with animals.
Dr. Sikule completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester and continued her education at the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1989. Dr. Sikule worked at a number of veterinary clinics in the Capital region before recognizing her strong desire to work with feline patients. She opened Just Cats Veterinary Clinic in Guilderland, in 1994, filling a niche in the community to provide specialized care for cats. In 2013, a second Just Cats Veterinary Clinic was opened in Saratoga Springs to expand the Just Cats practice of providing compassionate, exemplary feline care to clients north of the Capital District. Today, Just Cats serves over 3,500 feline clients.
