Johnny was born in Union City and moved to Bradenton Florida when he was 5 years old. He worked at several places until he found Callaghan Tire. He worked for Callaghan Tire in Bradenton for 16 years. He is very proud and thankful that Callaghan gave him an opportunity. He learned a lot and became service manager for them. He made lots of friends some of which he still considers like family. Them and Callaghan Tire are what made him who he is today. He married his wife Denise in 1991. He is a proud father of four children, two boys and two girls. In April 2004, with the support & help of his wife together they opened Johnny R Nelson Tire, Inc. Johnny and Denise work side by side everyday along with Johnny's oldest son Jason. He not only has a business in Parrish he is also a resident. He is a man of his word. He is a firm believer that your word is your bond & treat people the way you want to be treated.
