Jamie White, LPC, RYT-200 works with women in the health and healing professions to experience inspiration, fulfillment and vitality, both in their work lives and personal lives. Jamie started learning about the impact of trauma on the brain and nervous system in her work with at-risk adolescents and their families early in her counseling career. Intrigued by the ways yoga and somatic-based techniques improved treatment outcomes, she trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in 2013 and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2015. Currently she teaches yoga and practices psychotherapy in Golden, Colorado. She facilitates a trauma-informed, mindful and grounding experience in her yoga classes and periodically facilitates Yoga for Anxiety workshops. In her private practice she helps clients tap into the innate wisdom of their bodies and brains to live with more joy and less stress.
