Business Description

Felena leads and consults for a variety of organizations that focus on helping women in business. She began her leadership role in 2006, as a board member and then the San Diego branch leader of Women's Global Network - an organization that supports women in developing nations through microcredit. In 2008 she stepped into the role as Executive Director of Ladies Who Launch, San Diego - a national organization committed to supporting entrepreneurial women through education and community. She most recently co-founded the Business Women's Mega Mixer. Launched in 2010, it was the first event of its kind to bring together over 500 women to celebrate Women's History Month and showcase over twenty professional women's organizations throughout San Diego County. Felena was nominated for the "Women Who Mean Business Award" from the San Diego Business Journal in 2009 and the "Women Business Owner of the Year Award" by the local chapter of the National Organization of Women Business Owners.
