Melanie S. Hecker, MD FAAD completed her residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where she was Chief Resident in the dermatology department. Dr. Hecker completed her undergraduate work and master's degree in business administration at New York University. Upon completion of the post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Columbia University, she entered medical school at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She then completed her internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the faculty and staff at St. Luke's Hospital Center in New York as an assistant attending where she was the dermatologic clinic chief and director of their clinical research unit. She is also an associate in clinical dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Hecker is currently on staff at Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach, and Imperial Point Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
