I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, attended U.C. Davis for a Zoology B.S. (?) degree, worked at my very first 'real' job out of college for Linus Pauling in his first lab donated by Stanford University (Palo Alto), where I ingested large amounts of Vitamin C! I went from there into the world, trained in massage and was professional for a few years until I married. They called us 'baby boomers', so here I am.

I take absolutely no pharmaceutical drugs simply because I'm healthy! My grandmother (born in 1888) was early on studying nutrition & health for her own sake, passed that on to my mother (92, takes no drugs) who then passed it on to all of her children. That's my heritage. We have all passed it on to our own children, the 4th generation. Much of my practical knowledge has come from life experience. I am very good at researching for what I don't know. Researching to help those who come to my store is a priority every employee must also be skilled at, and they are.
