Business Description

I am Cristina, owner and founder of Healing Roots herbal medicine and acupuncture LLC. Herbal medicine and natural health care is my passion and I am thrilled to be able to provide a natural, affordable health care option to the public.

I am a certified Acupuncturist in the state of WI with a Masters of Science and Oriental Medicine and a BA of Nutrition from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. There, I did my graduate thesis work on achieving fertility through herbal medicine and acupuncture. Prior to studying Oriental Medicine, I began studying indigenous healing and herbal medicine at the Hospital Andino Alternativo del Chimborazo in Riobamba, Ecuador. I continued to study herbal medicine as well as Asian bodywork therapies at Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego, CA, where I earned my degree as a Holistic Health Practitioner.
