Business Description
I graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing, Michigan. I opened Hair Technique's doors for the first time in 2006. As the salon owner, I have always wanted to create a work environment that is positive and uplifting. My goal from the very beginning was to bring a homey but professional feel to the salon industry. The very design of the building has been centered around this idea. Each stylist has her own private room, complete with antique furniture and floor-to-ceiling mirrors, which enables her to give her clients her complete attention. As I hired more stylists to work with me, I was dedicated to finding the right girls. I wanted them to have the drive to always get better at their craft. They have done this by pursuing further education and by keeping up with the latest trends even as those trends have changed and shifted. At Hair Technique, dry cutting is our speciality!
