Located in the heart of San Diego's Mission Valley, Hair Lair is a private hair salon that specializes in organic color and hair care. The salon is owned and operated by Andrea, a former hair color educator who has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. As a stylist who developed chronic fatigue syndrome, Andrea decided to create a better salon environment that was healthier for her and her customers. She already used low/no ammonia color lines but in 2008 she found Organic Salon Systems, an organic hair color and product line that has no ammonia or other harsh chemical ingredients. The color results were amazing without the bad smell, and she was hooked!

Hair Lair is an Onesta Green Certified Salon, and Andrea is also an Organic Salon System Certified Haircolorist. Due to an extremely busy salon schedule, Hair Lair is not currently taking on any new customers at this time. However, if you are lucky enough to have an appointment, you can expect a personalized and relaxing experience in a serene environment that is free of harsh chemical smells.

In addition to offering organic hair color and hair care products, Hair Lair also sells a variety of natural, botanical, paraben-free, and vegan hair care products. Andrea is passionate about providing her clients with the best possible salon experience, and she hopes to continue to strive to have people enjoy their salon experiences with her.
