Their extensive selection of products includes pool tables, foosball tables, ping pong tables, air hockey tables, shuffleboard tables, home theater seating, custom bars, barstools, game chairs and spectator chairs, pub tables, game tables, arcade games, darts and dart accessories, wall decor, and accessories.

Established in 1964, the principals of Franco Distributing Co. bought Robinson Distributing Co. located in Atlanta, Georgia on Edgewood Avenue. They changed the name of this company to Greater Southern to reflect a more regional identity. Eleven years later, the company moved to its location on Marietta Boulevard, where they remained until October 2001. It was during this period that Greater Southern expanded its product line to include vending machines. After experiencing growing pains for several years, Greater Southern moved to Smyrna, GA in October 2001 and entered the retail home recreation business.

In 2006, the owners of Greater Southern Distributing partnered with Morris and Leo Benatar, and Greater Southern Recreation expanded again by purchasing Atlantic Billiards. Currently, Greater Southern operates two stores in the Atlanta area (West Midtown and Alpharetta). Greater Southern services the entire Southeast region of the United States.

David joined Greater Southern Distributing in 1998 after working for a year in sales at AMA Distributing in New Orleans, LA. When Greater Southern Distributing moved from its Atlanta location to Smyrna, GA in 2001, David played an integral part in expanding the business into retail and home recreation. David served as the general manager of Greater Southern Home Recreation from 2001-2015 and now serves as president. David proudly represents the fourth generation in this family-owned and operated business. David has a BA in Political Science from Tulane University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
