Business Description

It's now been 15 years since George's Imports ltd moved to the former Roach Cadillac facility at 8011 State Line Road. The uniquely family operated business has continued with a worldwide reputation for fair, honest and competent sales and service.

Once again Kansas City's own George's Imports ltd has outlasted the manufacturer. Headquartered in Trollhättan Sweden, SAAB entered into a joint venture with General Motors in 1990, which resulted in GM owning a controlling majority a few years later. With the recent bankruptcy of General Motors, several companies including Pontiac, Hummer, and Saturn have been dissolved. Yet SAAB was unique. Engineering and design talents were too valuable to just abandon, as suitors lined up to buy SAAB.
