Business Description
After an early stint in politics, I went back to school for a masters in business at UT Austin. From there a short banking career in Dallas led to a subsidiary of EDS where I traveled in the southeast US and sold equipment leasing. In Jan. 1992, with 1 small child and 1 on the way (we have 3 now!), my wife agreed to give me 6 months to find a manufacturing business to buy. We closed on the purchase of the Fred Lake Co. in June, 1992. The rest is history. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and family and love being able to come to work each day knowing that God has provided us an opportunity to live the American dream. We have much to be thankful for!
