This family-owned business is run by Emmett and Lynda, who are passionate about sustainable and organic farming practices.

With over 14 acres of certified organic produce, grains, dry beans, and laying hens, Foggy River Farm specializes in growing hundreds of varieties of vegetables, including the most delicious and widely-loved heirloom varieties. The farm also grows 12 varieties of heirloom dry beans and offers organic grains and flour such as wheat and barley.

The on-farm pick-up option is very popular among families with children and anyone who enjoys a weekly escape to the farm to get away from the hustle and bustle. Foggy River Farm also sells at three farmers' markets (Santa Rosa Original, Healdsburg, Sebastopol) and supplies several local restaurants and grocery stores.

The farm has a long legacy of agricultural production that dates back to 1954 when Emmett's grandparents moved to the property. Emmett grew up on the same property, and his father picked prunes and pears. Lynda grew up in San Diego and moved northward for college, where she studied creative writing, and they both studied Earth Systems, also known as interdisciplinary environmental sciences.

In 2010, the couple celebrated their wedding on the farm, which was published by Sasquatch Books in Lynda's book about Foggy River's first year of farming adventures. In 2012 and 2015, they welcomed little farmers Gillian and Addy into the world, who have become expert bean sorters and puddle splashers.
