Business Description

Cathy is our Founder and President who started Fancy Cats Rescue to help cats on the euthanasia lists at area shelters. She was never comfortable going in and picking the cats that were in the shelters so she asked the shelters to pick. It has worked very well and FCRT routinely adopts out cats that other shelters would have had to put to sleep. Growing up in poverty Cathy tended to identify with the unwanted and homeless felines. Cathy has said " the best reward comes from taking a cat who has given up on life and does not trust people ,then with some TLC becomes a wonderful companion". This is the spirit FCRT takes when answering calls for help from the area shelters.
