I am a dedicated tradesman and artist within the landscape lighting community. My background is highly developed having studied Botany and landscape architecture in college with over 2 decades of direct field experience, contracting as a landscape lighting designer. My area of specialty is within lighting design & consulting.
Being very creative, I am an artist not only with light and nature, but also within the realm of music--I'm a professional drummer, as well. I have been married to my wife for almost 30 years, have two young adult boys (men), and 3 dogs! I'm a believer in Christ and believe lighting is one of my two gifts.
I believe it's my mission to provide for the next generation in this art form, by establishing this Initiative and identifying ways in which the next generation can earn a good living through this practice. Also, I believe there are wonderful human health benefits associated with light, shadow and nature, as it can positively affect emotion and mood.
