MacKenzie earned her distinction of Master Bridal Consultant (MBC) through the Association of Bridal Consultants in 2008. She earned her certified special event professional status through the International Special Event Society in 2003 and was recertified in 2008. The highlight of her career came in 2006, when she received the Association's highest honor, The Miss Dorothy Heart award.

Elisa loves anything weddings, learning (traveling near and far to learn as much as she can) and as well as teaching other. She has had to privilege to speak many times, both locally and nationally on behalf on the industry she loves.

Along with weddings, Elisa loves to travel and has had the privilege to go abroad many times.
