Business Description

I am the Director of Eclipse Dance Collective and believe that this studio is a dream come true.

I have been training in dance since 2001, teaching since 2015, and have my degree in Dance from Wayne State University.

I was approached by my now-boss in 2021 to Direct and teach dance at a new studio due to her want for a fresh start for her daughter and friends. We then built a staff/studio of professionals and students that wanted to start a new journey in dance. While planning our new studio, we wanted to keep the importance of mental health and kindness as a top priority. As someone who has faced a lot of mental health challenges growing up and received very little empathy/understanding in the dance community, this was a crucial part of the studio I dreamed of.

EDC truly became a family within our first year being open and I can proudly say that we have an amazing/educated staff, wonderful students, and supportive families that make EDC a home away from home.
